Whatever you do, do NOT do this….

My good friend and fellow blogger, Peter Vest, has been tracking a cryptic but very intriguing series of announcements from the Temple Institute concerning a “major, ground-breaking, earth-shattering, life-changing, game-changing, announcement…… something that is basically gonna rock the world.   Apparently, the Temple Institute is preparing to make some MAJOR announcement, like, maybe…  “we are prepared to build the Third Temple and have access to the Temple Mount….”  or, some such.

Peter’s two articles are: 3rd Temple NOW? What is the Temple Institute Going to Announce on 7/12/15??? and THIS SUNDAY THE WORLD CHANGES [TRANSCRIPT OF RABBI RICHMAN’S DRASH FROM 7-8-15].

Something major is coming, which is why I want to issue a dire warning!!

Whatever you do, DO NOT ….

(First, some background…)  Prophecy clearly teaches that there will be another Temple.  Prophecy also teaches that there will be future sacrifice.  I have covered these topics on multiple occasions and I HIGHLY recommend you familiarize yourself with this information to at least have a broad perspective in the coming days.  Here are a few posts:

I do NOT know what is coming down the pike…  Much is happening very fast in the world around us and if not now, sometime in the not too distant future, there will be an announced Third Temple and there will be an altar built and it will cause an immediate UPROAR around the world in every denomination and faith group.

Whatever you do,

DO NOT SPEAK AGAINST THE ALTAR!!!

If you do not understand it, or do not agree with it , SAY NOTHING and wait for Yehovah (God) to sort it out.  He can take care of the details, but whatever you do, do not place yourself in a position to be standing between Him and whatever He is doing.

I have issued this warning before:  Say NOTHING!!

Please read the above linked articles and study the matter carefully.  At the very least, remain neutral!!!  Also, consider forwarding this to friends and family.  The day soon comes when an announcement will be made and the wise will be very careful with what they say if it is negative toward the Jews, the Temple, or the Altar!!

Ahab v. Elijah…

Digging in Proverbs 28 some more and I thought this verse interesting…  Then while pondering what image to put with it I saw this pic I took on the top of My. Carmel.

Interestingly, the verse fits Ahab and Elijah.  If these are the days of Elijah, and you wish to contend with the wicked… do you keep Torah?  Elijah did and was counted worthy!

When division = growth…

Much has been said lately within the Messianic community of our need for unity and the need to learn to walk at peace with brothers who may not see eye to eye on non-essential issues.  We’ve written a couple times on this topic, including Learning to Color Within the Lines and Shooting Ourselves in the Foot.  Clearly, the usual thoughts on ‘division’ are contrary to ‘unity.’

Another topic recently broached is the need for the Messianic community to study and further understand home fellowships as a model for growth and community building, particularly as it seems that persecution is on the horizon.

One article I wrote on the topic, Church as We Know it is Over, presents the thought and promised some continuing articles.  As I have further pondered the topic this week, I have to admit that my thoughts have remained in an area that in my mind does not seem to be the most important part, yet I am compelled to explore it….  Continue reading

How to be a ‘wise son’

While looking at something in the critical Proverbs 28:9, I looked up and saw this verse.

The next time someone gives you a hard time for being obedient to the indivisible Torah, remember our King kept it and calls those who keep it ‘wise sons.’

…even the statutes and ordinances…

Malachi 4:4 tells us in the last days the people of YHVH will obey even the statutes and ordinances.   Here, Psalm 119 confirms the connection between salvation (Yeshua) and statutes….
Are you keeping statutes or traditions?

The Time to Flee…

Recently, Kimberly Rogers released a teaching titled The Time To Flee.  I have been through much of it and agree with many parts.  It is very long with the first hour or two simply drawing probable connections between Babylon and a beast with which many of my readers are very familiar…  😉

time_to_fleeIn the latter portion she explores what Scripture seems to point to as one location to which we can flee and attendant considerations.  Like her, I am not recommending this as a blanket answer for everyone.  I am simply placing it here for your consideration. The last hour plus is definitely worthy of your time and prayerful attention, if for no other reason than to bring each of us before the Throne in this hour to ask, “What would You have ME to do?  Where would You have ME to be?”  (I capped the ‘ME’ because His answer to each of us may well vary.  There is not a ‘one size fits all’ solution. But we each need to be seeking diligently and be open to ‘interesting’ answers that require our faith.)

Take it with an open hand and seek the Father’s will…  at the same time, do not lose focus on rescuing those around you!  BE a light and be open to sharing the story of the Restoration of the Kingdom!

Church as we know it is over…

“Church as we know it is over.  And, maybe for the best…. “

In a recent post, I wrote the above quote as part of my thoughts concerning the recent Supreme Court ruling.  I have been pondering a number of aspects and this weekend, one of them came into sharp focus.

We had the good pleasure of hosting a couple from the lower part of the state who came to fellowship and spend Shabbat with us. Our prayer at the beginning of the weekend was that Abba would lead us and give us some direction as we considered options before us.  The Balak portion was interesting and provided good fodder for conversation considering some of the discussion on the table, but it was not until a late Shabbat afternoon conversation under the pecan trees that I felt a sense of clear direction.

Besides considering personal and family options and the very real possibility of becoming an expat, I have wrestled quite a bit with how to reach and help those being called out of the Church and into a closer walk with Messiah. Continue reading

Two Types of Watchmen…

Currently, I am reading Christians & Jews, The Two Faces of Israel, by Stephen J. Spykerman.  A broader review of this book will be forthcoming, however, I wanted to share a little nugget from pages 25-28.

51inNowprDL._SX321_BO1,204,203,200_Spykerman points out that there are two types of ‘watchmen.’  Now, like me, you are probably familiar with the watchman who stands upon the walls of Jerusalem and watches, prays, etc.  We would look to Isaiah 62:6-7,

On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent.
You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes, And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

And, indeed, today there are continual prayer vigils and vocal watchmen concerning Israel and more specifically, Jerusalem.  Interestingly, Spykerman points out another type of watchman that paints a fascinating picture in our time! Continue reading

“A Time For Waterfall Eyes” : A Response

Reed DePace, moderator and contributor to Lane Keister’s Green Baggins (Reformed Theology Blog), recently posted a short article titled A Time For Waterfall Eyes addressing the need for tears of repentance.  I have watched, waiting for comments, and after a couple weird ones, I think they closed comments on that post.  (Since, comments are again active, though they have no trackback link here…  disallowed as usual?)   I was wrestling with a response to Reed’s very valid questions and since I cannot now post a pithy comment or two, I have decided to post a more lengthy response here…

First, Reed’s complete article:

Let me tell you how AWESOME my King is!!!…

About four weeks ago, on a fine Friday morning, I pulled out of my drive while listening to James Block’s Restoration (Psalm 80) and singing at the top of my lungs.  Not paying attention and for no particular reason, I crested a hill less than a mile from home doing 2009-Dodge-Charger-police-car-1about 71 in a 55 and I got busted!  Immediately, I raised my hand and thanked the Father saying, “I don’t know what You are up to, but thank you.”  And, I stopped as quickly and safely as possible, was totally compliant and utterly disappointed in the $185 – 4 point ticket I was blessed with.

It could not possibly have happened at a worse time!  Seriously!  The day before, my job had submitted paperwork for me to go to school in late July with the SC DMV to be certified as a third party CDL tester.  Four points does more than jeopardize me as a CDL trainer/tester.  It ends my job!!  I asked for prayer, informed my supervisor and dreaded my day in court.

This morning was the day and I went prepared to plead guilty, ask for the points to be dropped and offer to pay the full fine.

Let me tell you what happened… Continue reading

Delegate Reflections on the Bney Yosef National Congress

Here is a link for a nice overview page that includes a number of personal reflections from various delegates who attended the First B’ney Yosef National Congress. Apparently, there are many hungry souls who desire more information on the Congress and who, like me, enjoy/appreciate the affirmation that our Father is up to something really BIG!!

Join with me in prayer that our Father provide leading and show each of us what He desires to do and what we need to do in this hour as He restores the tent of David.

Shlaom.

Brilliant!!!

Tonight was the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter.  Visibility was poor here, but my good friend Steve King got a great pic and added a brilliant verse from this week’s Torah portion.  Pure genius!!!

Enjoy!

Ever Faithful

It is interesting to consider the constant Presence of Yehovah in the wilderness, visible Presence, yet the people still rebelled.

Are we like that?  I want to say ‘no,’ yet I recognize the battle we fight with the flesh…

May we ever stay focused on HIM!
