Well, we come to the end of this study and there are a few random thoughts, additions I want to part with. Each of these could be chased for studies of their own, but I want to point out simple connections to get your wheels turning and then, if you so desire, pursue the ideas on your own.
If you haven’t read the first parts of this study, particularly the first three or four parts, this will mean very little.
To recap, Elijah was a Torah keeping Gentile, grafted into Israel and an exact counterpart to Moses. While his life is significant, the illustration it teaches for the coming Great Tribulation is even more significant. He is a prototype of one of the Two Witnesses, which we demonstrated may well be a picture of the 144,000. They all tie together.
I want to spend a few minutes looking at Ahab and Jezebel as archetypes, and then a mention of some of the ‘works’ Eliyahu does in the Great Tribulation. Continue reading →
