Community: How and Why to Build it!

We are beginning a new video series dealing with ‘community.’ We’ll be exploring the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ to build it.

During and since publishing a Torah commentary, Authority, Headship, and Family Structure (According to Moses), I have been blessed to be surrounded by an increasing wealth of solid, Godly men who share vision for the restoration of kol Israel and walking/living Torah in community. We continually discuss and put into practice the things we are learning as we rear young men, shepherd our families, and intentionally build a community.

Further, the Father has allowed us to connect with multiple men around the country who are likeminded and moving intentionally toward community, Biblical masculinity, Biblical families, etc. Many of these men have been well prepared by the Father with skillsets, life experiences, and deep study.

The Torah is God’s instructions for how a patriarchal, tribal family is to interact and function. It clearly teaches, as demonstrated in the aforementioned commentary, how men are to interact, how a family is structured, what the authority structure is and how it functions, as well as how larger family units (clans and tribes) are to function and be led. The restoration of kol Israel demands that we learn and implement these things. As I have often (and loudly) said, Israel is NOT a nation in the Western Greco-Roman model, nor will it be restored as such! We are a patriarchal, tribal people and we need to be intentionally moving toward that model.

But, HOW?

I’m glad you asked. It is not easy and requires a great deal of intentionality and vision. Most in the Messianic/Hebrew roots community, teachers included, are perfectly content to drive back and forth to work, grouse about the state of the world, speak platitudes about the Greater Exodus, and discuss the Torah in generalities, but precious few are actually doing anything.

We are not ‘most…’ And, we are willing to begin sharing the things we are learning and the steps we have taken.

We are interested in the connecting with those who desire to connect with us. We are interested in addressing the topics that interest you. Our upcoming videos series will have multiple faces, voices, and lots of wisdom. It may spill over into my podcast or a yet to be created dedicated podcast. Videos for this series will be mirrored on several platforms and sites, though they’ll primarily be on the 113Restoration YouTube channel and blog page.

Our promise is to give you the raw unvarnished truth and share the things we are learning in an effort to help others who desire to come together and dwell in unity and proximity with likeminded Torahkeepers. Please contact us with topics you desire to hear about, questions, thoughts, etc.

For the curious, we will be continuing our current series detailing what Scripture, and especially the Torah, says about marriage and family structure. This is unvarnished truth rooted in the Scriptures instead of Christian tradition that is built on Greco-Roman law and paganism.

Our new series will run in parallel and address related, and sometimes larger, issues like masculinity, femininity, practical patriarchy, transitioning a fellowship into a community, finances, businesses, interdependence, boundaries, rearing boys, shepherding girls, marriage prospects, homesteading, etc.

For those who desire connecting directly, I am on MeWe ( Pete Rambo ) or search for the 113Restoration group.

I can also be reached ‘privately’ through the Contact Us page of this blog.

Stay tuned!!

For the restoration of kol Israel and the glory of our King,
