Prophetic thresholds….

This year has been a string of prophetic pearls being revealed, one after another.  Yesterday proved another gem in the string as President Donald Trump officially recognized Zion, the Eternal City, as the capital of Israel.  Much, much has been running through my head ever since, but the very first thought that hit me was,

Ezra 1

Cyrus Helps the Exiles to Return

In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:

“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:

“‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’”

Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem

How many of you remember last year about this time when Trump’s win and Presidency was being met with declarations that he was a type of Cyrus.  It was something I mentioned in a post pondering the seeming reprieve the US has from its march toward the precipice.   Yesterday, President Trump, with his excellent Vice President Pence backing him up, made good on the prophetic voices that sensed he is a type of Cyrus.

A few passages of Scripture come to mind, but first, the full speech:

Multiple passages from Isaiah ring in my head!!  Isaiah 40 and 52 come to the front, but not nearly as powerfully as Isaiah 60!!  The whole chapter…  here are the first few verses:

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
    and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
    and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
    and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
    and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

“Lift up your eyes and look about you:
    All assemble and come to you;
your sons come from afar,
    and your daughters are carried on the hip.
Then you will look and be radiant,
    your heart will throb and swell with joy;
the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,
    to you the riches of the nations will come.

I do not know what the Father’s plans are and am waiting with near breathless anticipation, but the recent signs in the heavens and the incredible steps in the Torah Awakening among Christians as well as the Jewish awakening toward Ephramites, all demonstrate that He is on the MOVE!  Those who do not see the major prophetic fulfillment and implications in recent days are either blind or, as we say in the South, “their wood is wet!”

May God grant wisdom and insight in the coming days!!

    I’ve been waiting on your thoughts about the subject .Zech. 12:2 Jerusalem will be a cup of drunkness and a heavy stone. Did you know that Pres. Trump did not sign the wavier that would have prevented the embassy from moving. Each President has signed it.. This occurred exactly 70 years to the day, on the Jewish calendar, that the UN voted to establish the borders of Israel. Wednesday was just a formality. By not signing the wavier He gave permission for the embassy to move. Its been 50 years since Israel captured all of Jerusalem in the 6 day war in June of 67. Its just interesting that 70 is the years of exile when the Jews returned to rebuild Jerusalem. Also 50 is a jubilee when the land returns to the rightful owners. Correct me if I’m wrong. We are blessed to be born in interesting times.

    The way I understand it by not signing the wavier Monday he was telling the world that we would recognize Jerusalem as the capital. on Wednesday he formally or officially announced his position. Now that it is done he did sign the wavier to keep the embassy in Tel Aviv until the one in Jerusalem is completed. If not they would have to rent or buy office space. “Consistent with the Jerusalem Embassy Act, I am also directing the State Department to begin preparation to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem,” Trump said in his speech. “This will immediately begin the process of hiring architects, engineers, and planners, so that a new embassy, when completed, will be a magnificent tribute to peace,” he added, indicating a lengthy process.

    Trump could have signed it Monday and still give the speech on wednesday. However he choose to sign the wavier after the speech on wednesday. No matter how you look at it 70 years to the day or not it is still in my view fulfilling prophecy. thats my 2 cents.
