All other adults in our group chose to help with the grocery run before Shabbat. I elected to stay with the boys and take a walk through the neighborhood. (Come to think of it, maybe they left me with the boys so they could get some peace and quiet…. Hmmm.)
We took a slow stroll around the neighborhood enjoying the views and taking many pictures. Because Shabbat is almost upon us, I will not take the time to write further. I just want to share these… Note the sukkahs, flowers, gardens, etc…
Shabbat Shalom from Gi’vat Ye’arim, Jerusalem District.
It’s Preparation Day here and I’m not getting much done because I keep seeing a new post from Natsab and I stop what I’m doing to read it and absorb the beautiful photos from the Land! 😉 My hubby and I are preparing to leave for the Land in just about 2 weeks so the longing is very real. We could use some extra prayers for healing for Dick’s back and divine intervention and favor in finding relief from the pain he’s experienced for several weeks, or the long trip — first to PA by car and then to TLV by plane — will not be a comfortable one. B’rachot to you and your family as you celebrate Sukkot in the Land!
