Have you ever noticed that at least five times in the Book of Revelation we are told that those who persevere have TWO marks?

Look it up!  (12:11; 17; 14:12; 15:3; 20:4)

Got Torah?

I think it is important to point out – at least to Christians – that when the NT mentions ‘the commandments” as it does in this quote from the Revelation, it is not referring to The TEN Commandments, but is rather using the Greek word “entolē” which is used in several verses that can only be referring to the mitzvot – the specific regulations of Torah. For example, Y’shua says, “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least “entolē” and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt 5:19) (None of the 10 Commandments is among “the least”, because they are summarized by Y’shua as being the most important commandments upon which hang all the Law and the Prophets.) Another is found in Heb 7:5 – “And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a “entolē” to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:” (Tithing is not included in the 10 Commandments.)
