James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
There is no better way to ‘visit an orphan in their distress’ than to provide them with a loving Godly home!!
Dear friends, Nick and Courtney Rebovich, are all about spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom and modeling, in every way, their love of Messiah Yeshua! They came into this walk about the same time we did and our paths crossed at a Messianic fellowship in Prosperity, SC. Their contagious fire motivated all of us to dig deeper in the Scriptures and take our King at His Word.
In time, they, along with their beautiful daughter, Kori, were moved to begin facilitating a home fellowship in Greenwood, SC that has grown to the point it now needs to multiply into two fellowships. In addition to homeshooling and helping to coordinate many aspects of the Messianic community in Western South Carolina, she also participates in prison ministry and outreach to the needy. But, they have a heart for more!!
As I have previously written, our fellowships are brimming with children and over the last year the Rebovichs have felt a growing desire from Abba to adopt a child into their family. It has been a secret prayer of theirs for a long time that they have recently begun sharing as they selected an adoption agency and are nearing completion of the home study.
From this point forward, the process gets considerably more expensive. About $30,000 expensive. But, what is a child worth?
Today, Courtney sent me a link for a t-shirt fundraiser they are doing that will help with this rather large sum. I asked if I could donate directly since I have a pile of t-shirts and this encouraged her to set up a Go Fund Me site dedicated to baby Rebovich. Here is where WE ALL can help!! Right here, each of us has a chance to help throw a life preserver to an orphan… The community, coming together for a precious child.
Nick and Courtney have not put limits on who they will take, leaving that in the Father’s hands. They are praying that He will use them to be a blessing in the life of a child by providing a home and lots of love as well as an environment that honors God by taking Him at His Word. Join me today in making a contribution that will help ‘redeem’ a child!
Go to https://www.gofundme.com/adoptionRebovich and make a $50 or $100 donation toward this worthy endeavor that will not just bless the Rebovichs, but will bless some special child forever. If you can help with $250 or $500, please do so… it is, as James says, “pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father….”
Do not delay….
I look forward to watching these two fundraisers and seeing how our Father uses the community to meet the need of a precious little child.
Shalom!
Todah Rabba my brother!!

We just recently met with an incredible family who have 9 adopted children from several nations that has a ministry that Nick and Courtney may want to contact. They help couples financially through adoption grants. Godworks.org

Doing well, Pete. Hope you all are too. Love reading your blog, it is always informative and encouraging. It looks like we may be going to South Africa in February, with an organization called Life International, as part of a team that trains ministry leaders in pro-life issues, i.e., post-abortion healing for men and women and also making an informed decision for life. We are excited about this opportunity. Pray for us, if you;re led :). Before we left to Israel for Succot this past fall, we had the opportunity to speak to the Chinese Church in town regarding these issues, and have since been back sharing about Israel and our hebrew roots walk of faith. Through all this we connected with the family with the 9 adopted children and found out about their ministry godworks.org. Give thanks to Yahweh for He is good and His love endures forever!
