What a difference, and blessings, a good night’s sleep makes!!
This morning I woke before the alarm went off with sun peeking around the shade… Too excited to go back to sleep! After playing with the little espresso machine in the room, I figured it out! Hahahaaa… several cups later, we headed to the roof restaurant for a continental breakfast.
I am LOVING the food!! The buffet this morning had an abundance of fruit, cheese, fresh vegetables and whole fresh breads. The cereal was whole grains and various toppings like craisins, coconut, etc. Lots of coffee… More espresso! This is GOOD!
Azar, our cabbie from yesterday, met us at the predetermined time… Early, actually! We had more fun, but broken conversation as we jetted back trough town on the return to the airport to meet John & Sue as well as wait for Connie.
Our conversation yesterday touched on alcohol and his ocassional ‘habit,’ but today his ‘drinking’ conversation was to admonish heavy water consumption. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be unusually hot… 36 degrees… Oh, Celsius!
I loved Azar’s car. Very nice. Had to get some details… Renault Fleuence, I think it was. Will look that up later.
So, Hotel Gilgal behind us, and Connie soon joining us, we’ll be off to Jerusalem.
Hopefully, tonight I can post pics of the Old City and Hezekiah’s Tunnel.
Having so much fun doing nothing and just soaking in the ambiance and the Land. Fun to see the Yehudi of all different backgrounds and beliefs levels… Praying for each as I meet and pass that they meet their Messiah.
Shalom to you!
