   I find that Scripture condons blessing after the meal, much less support for common practice of blessing before eating. ( I did not watch video yet).

     Agreed on the support for blessing Yahweh after we eat, but was thinking about how many times Yeshua blessed the bread and broke it… unless my memory is faulty. Later, when I have time, I’ll look some of those passages up. He can’t be teaching something different. Wonder if maybe it is an example of Him following a tradition of the elders that He considered okay…

     Have to dig a little deeper.

   Wow, I have never realised that God’s instruction to Adam and Eve was the first foodlaw, that is amazing. Such a lot happened in that garden that we just miss when we read Genisis.

     I thought that an interesting perspective, as well. Never really thought of it in terms of violating a food law.

     Also had not really considered what it means when we ask our Father to bless ‘food’ He calls an abomination…
