Happy Anniversary!! We are one year old today!

Natsab is one year old, today!anniversary_060

A few stats and highlights, as well as favorite posts, coming up.

First and foremost, I want to thank our Father, Yahweh, for encouraging me to jump into the blogosphere and write about the things He has been teaching me in His Word and through many other teachers that have blazed a trail.  I am super thankful for the friends and family that have supported and encouraged me in this endeavor.

In fact, without many of you as regular readers, I would have long ago conceded to the idea that my efforts were in vain.  Thank you!!

Early January 2013, I toyed with the idea of writing to help me process and as a way to share/explain what I was learning.  Never having blogged or kept a journal before, I was afraid I’d run out of things to say…  My wife, bless her, is right.  That was just a dumb fear…  I’m never at a loss for something to say.  LOL!

Honestly, I am humbled, as this has been a journey that, while not without its bumps, it has been highly rewarding.  We have a consistent growing readership originating from more than 90 countries and have seen our Father’s hand in so many ways!

I didn’t consider myself a writer, but have written more than 190 of 290+ posts!  Many of those are a direct result of the Ruach showing me things in the Word that I had never noticed or processed rightly.

Here is the opening post and the reason for the name…  Natsab

Now for some favorites:

Based on pageviews, the top four most read articles are:

RT: Antisemitism  Easily the most popular and most shared article, this was a gut-wrenching post to write as I finally came to the fullness of understanding what I had done in teaching/adhering to some false doctrines.

Excellent Passage Defending Messianic Torah Observance!!  While the second most popular, it is a surprising post on the list.  As I wrote, I thought, “Simple post.  Most everybody probably already knows this…”  Yet, in just a few days it had rocketed up the list of ‘most read/most shared.’  Interesting.  Our Father never ceases to amaze me.

The Apostle Paul was NOT a Christian!  This was a recent article that was intentionally a bit ‘inflammatory,’ but designed to spark discussion about who Paul REALLY was.  Spark discussion, it did…  though not on this blog.  I was not privy to much of the Facebook discussions, but it was shared some 200+ times… I pray it made someone think!!

10 Paradigm-shifting New Testament Verses!  Interestingly, this post has only had 16 Facebook shares, but many hundreds of views making it the fourth most viewed article on the blog.  Go figure!

Two ‘doorway posts’ that are down the list a little are found by search engines several times a week:  Blood moons… Signs in the heavens must be a favorite search for prophecy students while Sunday School teachers who are panicked on Saturday night search for ‘pop quiz Paul,’ or some similar and find Know Your Bible?  10 Question Pop Quiz.  (Subject:Paul).  That probably REALLY panics them!

I’m not sure I can finger a personal favorite, though the Elijah series was particularly fun to study for because of my love of prophecy.  Individual posts that are pithy tend to rank high on my list…  I guess, I don’t mind stirring the pot…

For you, the reader, please add a comment with a favorite post, thought or something special you have gleaned from the blog, or even, make suggestions.  How can we better serve our King and more broadly share this great treasure we have?

I am looking forward to the coming months/year.  If you have ideas or suggestions for a post or study, feel free to drop me a note through the contact page.  Most of all, I covet your prayers for wisdom and guidance, and that our Father would use me/us/this blog to His glory!

Shalom!

1 Response to Happy Anniversary!! We are one year old today!

Since I was not in on the start (no computer), I did not know what Natsab meant. Wow! How appropriate. Happy Anniversary! What a blessing this has been. I have learned much. And reinforced with what I did know. Praise our Father. I hope it will continue to remove the scales, open ears, and remove the stony hearts to receive the Truth of His Word. I am so thankful we can see more in Truth what Y’shua and the disciples taught, believed, and lived. What a blessed life we have. Y’shua said it well, ‘He came to give us life and that MORE ABUNDANTY’ and give us ANOTHER COMFORTER to teach and remind (now we know He gave us Torah too)-(how did we miss so many things?-because we ‘parro’t what we hear without thinking and searching ourselves)
