Daily Focus

Yesterday, I briefly mentioned focus.   We live in an entertainment oriented culture and it is so easy to fall prey to the many mind-numbing social media habits.  Our daily question should be, am I using this as a mindless pacifier, or am I using it to gain ground for the Kingdom?

Can’t we just keep the focus on what other people do wrong?? Lol, but really, I need to ask this question daily… Maybe hourly… It made me think of the passage in 2 Timothy… A social media checklist of sorts… May we not find ourselves falling in the trap, but allow His Word to train us in righteousness and to DWELL in His secret place.

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,”
    ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭ESV‬‬
