After beginning with a short thought from Psalm 40:8 and a few comments about my upcoming trip to Israel, we continue our look at the Apostle Paul. In this segment, having completed a pretty thorough evaluation of what Paul DID and what his testimony in court was of himself, we considered a few very positive statements about the Torah that he made. Again, we are building the context to prepare us to properly understand some of his ‘seemingly’ negative statements concerning the Torah.
I will be gone the next two weeks, on the third I plan to give a report about my Israel trip which may/may not be posted, however, I will be making updates to the blog from Israel.
Following that break, we will consider the historical and Judaic context within which Paul taught as we begin to tackle his difficult Scriptures.
