The WHOLE HOUSE….

Several months ago, I had a trunk load of metalwork that got scrambled.  It looked so interesting that I took a few pictures before sorting it out.  The images remind me of dry bones….

    Really pondering the words ‘cut off.’ Judah was not ever cut off as a whole, though undoubtedly, some did stray. The House of Israel is who was cut off. Hosea 1 articulates this differentiation. Foes this then modify our understanding in this verse of what ‘whole house of Israel’ means? Have to mull. But interesting.

    I’ve always thought this verse to be directed at both houses, but just maybe, as it sets up the two stick prophecy, it is speaking principally to the house of Israel.
