    A must read Ps. 119. (the whole thing, please). Then decide if the Torah is bondage and something to be freed from. Or it is blessing, joy, peace!!! (something to be embraced). Think honestly. Do we want to stand before our Elohim and tell Him we despised His Torah (instruction-teaching), His Ways, His Word, His admonition, His warnings, His Love. Uhhhh! That would be like thumbing our nose at Him!!!! Wouldn’t it make more sense to show our love by honoring and Him and His Word (even as Y’shua did?

      Back in the days when I falsely believed that the law had been done away with, Psalm 119 was pure drudgery. Dry. A waste of time to read.

      Once I came to proper understanding that the Torah stands and is a glorious thing, Psalm 119 came alive and is a wonderful read. I love just reading short sections and meditating on them.. WONDERFUL!!

      One of the first things I did once settled into the Hebraic was to take a highlighter and mark every synonym of ‘law’ such as ‘precepts, judgments, commands, word,’ etc… I also circled every case where the word ‘torah’ proper shows up… The blessings and sweetness that result from this understanding and obedience is amazing.

      If the law is done away with, then this Psalm is a monstrous joke.

      I think the author knew rightly that the torah would endure until heaven and earth pass away. He writes, “So I will keep your torah continually, forever and ever, and I will walk at liberty for I seek Your precepts.” v. 44 & 45.

      Another wonderful passage is Psalm 19:7-14. V. 11 says, ‘in keeping them is great reward…’
