I have recently read, Exposing the Spirit of Ashtoreth, an amazing book by pastor Jacob D. Foulk.  While it is written primarily to a mainstream Christian audience, the message is much needed in Messianic and Torah circles.

Foulk correctly identifies both the root of anemic faith and growth as well as the antedote… I cannot over recommend his book, though there are a couple bones you may need to work around.
