For sometime I have had a paper rolling around in my head. Over the last several weeks I have finally put it into writing and then given it sufficient time to marinate. This morning, I published it on Academia.edu.
It begins..
Polygyny as a Framework for Eschatology
Peter G. Rambo, Sr.
Christian eschatology and the progress of redemption is generally centered around a ‘one bride’ or monogamy-only model, but what if the entire framework is wrong? Is it possible that the very foundation of Biblical eschatology is based on a polygynous model? Might there even be an amazing picture in Scripture that confirms this very image?
This paper will seek to lay a foundation to reevaluate the ‘one bride’ model of eschatology and demonstrate that Scripture consistently points to a polygynous, or ‘two bride’ model of eschatology.
The complete paper can be found here with my other two…
Enjoy. Shabbat Shalom.
