Shalom my Israelite brother…thank you so much for the insight you’ve given on this Torah portion…took me a while to get my brain wrapped the scripture in this portion, I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but after going thru your writing things became much clearer. In my version, words like ‘own flesh’ and ‘uncover nakedness’ threw me and my brain until I started using your translation ‘looking on with I’ll intent’ or ‘blood relative’ .I had to reread it several times to get a clearer understanding. I think it is very important we see these things now and practice them so that we are a true standard or bright light to those around us and especially when we are in ‘The Land’.
