Love eschatology or prophecy?

I have always loved eschatology.  Trying to understand how things are to happen at the end is a fascinating study and, for me, a joyous pastime as I try to assemble the pieces.

There are those who say, “Why worry about it?  It’ll all ‘pan’ out.”  (As in, pan-millenialists.  Har-har…)

But, is that what scripture advises or are we given thousands and thousands of words of prophecy with the intent that we study and seek understanding?  Paul says, “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”

Many other verses and lines of thought confirm the blessedness of seeking understanding, but that is not the purpose of this post.

Rather, recognizing that we are indeed living in a very interesting time in history, and seeing the convergence of so many different threads that seem eschatological, I’m going to assume you are interested in some fascinating studies I have viewed lately.

The two studies that follow came to me from diverse directions, but have nearly identical results even though they approach the topic from slightly different starting points.  Both present very compelling scenarios in-keeping with current events, and both present a possible timeline that starts in the VERY near future…

I highly recommend taking the time to absorb and process both studies, if for no other reason than to understand the relationship between the Feasts of Yahweh and prophecy.

Both are in keeping with what I have seen in the Word for years, but never had the brains or time to fully articulate.

This second seven part series, End of Days by 119 Ministries, is a bit longer with some other confirming and fascinating information not found in the above video.  It also has a much more detailed explanation of the Feasts and why they were given to us.  (Or, why we were instructed to keep them…  for our wisdom and protection…)

Yahweh’s Prophetic Calendar Part 1 (of 7)   [23 minutes]

One date is postulated by both teachings as a possible day to be paying attention to on/near the Temple mount…  Interestingly, that date has also shown up in the news for an event coming up in Yerushlayim involving significant players.  Seriously.  There is some heady stuff here that needs to be watched post haste!

Leave thoughts and comments after watching.

Shalom,

Pete
