The Zionist Roots of Thanksgiving

Without question, Thanksgiving is connected to Sukkot. Maybe more than one realizes.

The first Thanksgiving day was not a day… it was a week, preceded by a day of fasting. If that sounds like Yom Hakippurim and Sukkot, you would be right.

May the Almighty bless you this day as you ponder the foundations of America, the many things we have to be thankful for and the awakening of our part of the House of Israel. Shalom!
