For as by one man’s sin….

What if Solomon had been obedient to Torah and walked humbly?  Would the kingdom have still been divided?  All Israel followed the king.  He led/caused the rebellion.

Now the word of the Lord came to Solomon saying, ” Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in My statutes and execute My ordinances and keep all My commandments by walking in them, then I will carry out My word with you which I spoke to David your father. I will dwell among the sons of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.”
1 Kings 6:11‭-‬13 NASB

  1. I’ve often wondered the same thing. Similarly, what if Adam had been truly obedient and guarded Gan Eden, so that hasatan could not have entered?

True, and that would be the root. The point with Shlomo is two fold: 1. It was the Father’s will to divide the Kingdom (1 Ki. 12:26, if I recall) and, 2. The greatest human king of kol Israel failed, proving the need for a Divine Son of David to take the throne.

  2. I’ve come to understand Solomon is the model for the “anti-Messiah” (divider of the nation). Notice the code words (capitalized for emphasis) in this passage:

Rev 13:18 Here is WISDOM: Let him who has UNDERSTANDING compute the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man and its number is six hundred and sixty six.

Who else in scripture, other than Yeshua, is most associated with these characteristics?

Few realize Solomon is the only person associated with the number 666 in the scriptures:
    First witness:
1Ki 10:14 And the weight of the gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty six talents of gold,
1Ki 10:15 apart from the merchant men, and from the traffic of the traders, and from all the Arabian kings, and from the governors of the lands.

    Second witness:
2Ch 9:13 And the weight of the gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty six talents of gold,
2Ch 9:14 besides that from the traders, and that the merchants were bringing in. And all the kings of Arabia, and the rulers of the land, were bringing in gold and silver to Solomon.

You cannot serve two masters. You will love one and hate the other……. (Matt. 6:24, Luke 16:13)

Solomon broke every commandment concerning the conduct of kings and betrayed the giver of his gift of wisdom by using it as a means for his own personal lust/gain without regard to the purpose for which it was given.

So, what’s the pattern (according to my understanding which some may disagree)?
The anti-messiah has to be a Jew (remember the Messiah that’s being looked for (of which this guy is a counterfeit) is a “Son of David”) in leadership at a time when Israel will be the world leader in technology, finance and trade. He will broker peace deals with surrounding nations using the gaining of wealth as the means to do so (peace through trade). He will, at first be true but will be corrupted by pride and will ultimately claim to be the very expression of God Himself due to his perceived favor by the gaining of such massive wealth and power. He will claim the things he does is because God revealed it to him but will actually be building his own kingdom (notice Solomon spent twice as much time building his own house as the temple he built). He will not force his way into a temple but will, in fact be the means by which it will be built and as such have free run of it. When he dedicates it, the ceremony will (as was Solomon of old) be all about him. Most will be deceived by this ruse being amazed at what this man is able to do but they will not know who he really is. Even today, most do not know that Solomon is a predominate character within the Occult and Free Masonry. One has to ask “why”?

Remember, this will be a total deception. While they think they worship one thing, they’re actually worshiping another:
Rev 13:4 And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast; who is able to make war with it?

Time will tell. I pray Yah keeps our eyes open and clear to truly understand the times.

    Shalom,
    Trav.
