Just wanted to say the following re the interview :-
It was well spelled out that everyone is at a different place along the road â my concern was that Gene is denying the divinity/deity/oneness of the Messiah â a fact that is really splitting the Hebrew roots movement down the middle â please I do not mean to be pessimistic â am over the moon at what Abba is doing worldwide with all of us â

You are correct, re:Gene’ s view of Yeshua, and I trust the Father has this. The interview was excellent, however at that particular point I hollered at my laptop (and Gene) “echad doesn’t mean yachid!!”

Pete, denying Yeshua’s deity bothered me as well. Do you have any writings concerning echad vs yachid?

You can search my blog. Certainly, I have touched on that, but have clearly demo strayed in dozens of posts that Yeshua is deity. Read the who is series. Search for Memra as well as Angel of the Lord. My first book covers it well. Al McCarn and I affirm His deity in the book we are about to publish. It is without question.

We are so excited about this book, too!! Our story has been included in it, and we even get to attend the Book Release ceremony!!! Wow! Who’d a thunk??
Rivkah warned us that her book would include testimony from those who do not recognize Y’shua as divine or even as messiah, and gave us permission to withdraw our story if we did not wish to be associated with that concept. (She is SO considerate and professional.) Our response: “We’re still with you, Rivkah! In fact, we are fascinated to hear that this aspect is a big part of the story and want to know more about it.”
Really looking forward to reading the whole book. Thanks so much for posting the interview!

Pete, as you know, at the book launch, Rivkah read aloud the letter that you and Al wrote to her – it obviously meant a LOT to her, and I just wanted to say “thanks” for saying what was in our hearts, and for saying it so well. ❤

Pete, I am also very excited about the book, but Gene Porter does not believe in the deity of Yeshua. For that reason, I cannot share this interview. If you have access to Gene, send him the 10 teachings on youtube from the Vineyard Fellowship on the deity of Yeshua. They are outstanding by Matthew Miller. This is the congregation Caleb Cohen attends and also Megan at times in Tennessee.

Julie Williams. That’s right! It’s why I don’t share it either; when this podcast was posted on google plus I commented that I belive th Messiah is Elohim and not what Gene does. Gene actually said that he doesn’t believe any longer in the Messiah to be Elohim!
But, I won’t deny Yahusha in any shape or form I liked often to listen to Gene’s interviews until I found out, in this podcast as well, that he doesn’t believe any longer that our Messiah is also our Elohim!
At mark 041:41 min you will hear it with your own ears, I couldn’t believe my ears first, but yes and of course Rivka doesn’t oppose him , but I. So sad that he is “representing” Ephraim out there on the air waves with such a lie! Now we are 2 witnesses and I have another sister and friend who says the same and she told me already some time ago that Gene denies the Messiah being Elohim and that he told her this (they know each other) already some years ago. He is in big trouble unless he repents!

am new to this site. But i have heard of Rivka’s book. :”Ten from the Nations”.
Also heard her interview on Isral News Talk Radio.
I intend to get her book and read, but never-the-less… i say.. . and I believe there is No Gd but Hashem… Hashem is One..

Soon will come the Mashiach, sent by Hashem… an ordinary man… just a man… not god..

Shalom and welcome, Ziporah,
You will both enjoy and be challenged by Rivkah’s book. As you will see from my testimony in the book, I, too believe in the soon coming of the Messiah, however, I firmly believe that He will be the visible manifestation of Hashem.
Either way, I think we will; all soon have greater understanding if we are willing to follow Hashem.

I even as Noahide say the Shema.
And i believe it: Hear, O Israel, the L-rd is our G‑d, the L-rd is One.
And soon Baruch Hashem… when Mashiach comes… all will be clear. Amen v’Amen.
