Read carefully. New notes added into original post!
Mark your calendar!!! We have a venue and a band, and I am really excited to tell you about it!! South Carolina will have a National Shabbat gathering!!
Rich, in Washington, DC, saw the need for a location and after calling them, emailed me with details of a campground in Elgin, SC owned by a Messianic for Messianics. Interestingly, I met the owner, Ron Cowart, almost three years ago at a shofar making class I taught. When we met, he shared his vision of a private campground available to Messianics for Sukkot and other gatherings.
Tommy and Dorothy Wilson as well as Kelly and I visited the facility and we are very excited to have this event at Ron Cowart’s beautiful campground. We each experienced this immediate peace upon entering the grounds. Neat confirmation.
So, here are the details we know so far!! Mark your calendar!
Location: 1117 Flaming Arrow Rd, Elgin, SC 29045
Date: December 5, 2015
Time: 1 p.m. until 6+ p.m.
Music: TBD Announcement coming.
Cost: Generous love offering!!
Food: Bring a covered dish (clean/kosher food)
Bring: Chairs, dancing shoes 😉 , a heart for unity, and your shofar! The acoustics off of the woods in this idyllic peaceful setting is just awesome!!
Dress: Casual and warm. Parts will be outdoors… bonfire, (two fire pits), etc
Plan to sing, worship, dance, fellowship and meet a bunch of other Messianics from across SC and the southeast!! Available: camp sites for tents, trailers or RVs for any who want to get there early and/or stay late… Call Ron Cowart at 803-513-4242 to reserve a space.
Pass the word to every Messianic you know in SC and surrounding areas!!
***We have been told by multiple congregations across SC that they are closing their doors December 5, 2015 so they can all come. This shaping up to be really big. Please pray for beautiful weather and for Abba to continue working out the details.
Let’s celebrate Shabbat together in a BIG way!!
WooHoo!!! We are excited and sharing with others……don’t be surprised if 500 or so show up! :0) Can’t wait to kick it off! Shalom Shalom!

Reblogged this on The Barking Fox and commented:
For friends in the Southeast, here is another opportunity to gather with brethren who are taking YHVH seriously about His promise to regather and restore the entire nation of Israel. For those who are not in the Southeast, here’s an opportunity to pray in support of this initiative, and to seek the Father’s guidance on what more we should be doing. The question before us is this: Are we really Abraham’s seed, or not (Galatians 3:29)? If not, then pay no further attention. But if so, then ponder the implications of being adopted into the same family that became the nation of Israel. Ask the Father to explain what that means in terms of inheritance and obligations, and how that impacts our relationship with our Jewish brethren and with the State of Israel.
And while pondering all that, make your plans now for the first weekend of December to be either in Elgin, SC, for the South Carolina National Shabbat, or in Denton, TX, for the B’Ney Yosef Region 35 Conference!

Thank you for your prayers! We hope you can come, if that means you would be
coming from NC and not from the Middle East, practically speaking! :0)

Thanks so much Tommy. It would be great to see you again (we met at the Congress in Shomron), but we won’t be able to get back to the States in time. We will definitely be praying. Last night a group of us prayed for the good weather that Pete asked for. 🙂 Among other things, we also prayed for financial provision for those called to attend. Keep us posted – we will continue to hold you up!!!

A couple I love very much left our group a number of years ago. They didn’t agree with church teachings and didn’t like or agree with some things we were learning about. They have been going no where for fellowship and when they started their own little group that didn’t work out either. So they are alone and have been for about 5 years now and don’t seem to want to go anywhere. I have asked the man if when we are together in the end “are you going to come out of your room then”? He just kind of giggles but can’t answer me. I now see him, and he admits it, distancing himself from YHVH. We talked about it briefly and he realizes it so I’m praying he will repent and return to YHVH with all of his heart. They need to fellowship!

Yes, we need that regular local fellowship and we need to occasionally gather in larger regional groups to fellowship…

An answer to prayer. The couple I told you about that left our group a few years back has returned to study with us. HalleluYHVH! It’s my son, his wife and my grandson! They have come out of their room! YHVH IS SO GOOD!
