Prophecy at Breathtaking speed!!

Biblical prophecy is happening so fast in our day that it takes one’s breath away!  Things are happening that even a year ago seemed impossible!

Yesterday morning someone forwarded a news article to me that seemed almost impossible a couple short months ago.  Scripture prophesies the restoration of the House of Israel and the return to the land of the lost tribes, yet seemingly the whole world, from the Jews themselves to all of Christendom have stood against this future reality in one way or another.  Then, I read,

Government panel to look into connecting with gentiles of Jewish descent

The government announced the formation of a special committee to investigate the relationship between the state and gentiles, many of Jewish descent, who have shown an interest in Israel and the Jewish people.

In an advertisement that ran in several local newspapers, including The Jerusalem Post, the Diaspora Affairs Ministry described the exploratory committee and issued a call for public proposals regarding relations between Israel and “large groups around the world that have an interest in the Jewish people even if they are not entitled to rights under the Law of Return.”

The remainder of the article from the Jerusalem Post gives more details of not one, but two committees, one directly connected with the Knesset, that are exploring a greater understanding of who might be a real asset to build bridges with, even if they are not Jewish or have rights under the current law.  There appears a genuine desire to understand and to ‘map’ the people groups that are interested in standing with Israel and love the land and people enough to be considered ‘potential’ citizens.  (Though the word ‘citizen’ is not used.)

My impression is this: Apparently, some groups within the government have a concern for the state and are exploring how to build the populous with people that will adhere to what it means to be ‘of Israel’ even if the physical lineage is a bit murky.  I.e., they are willing to let the proverbial camel’s nose under the tent of ‘aliyah.’

Time will tell, but I strongly suspect that as the world grows increasingly antiSemitic and Israel needs dedicated bodies to fill their increasing land area as Abba brings to fulness His promises to Abraham (Euphrates to Nile, Mediterranean to +/- Tehran), then they will be forced to accept and even embrace those who walk n the ancient paths as brothers and citizens.  I.e., aliyah for many currently considered unqualified.  All this leads to the fulfillment of Scripture in a real, literal and physical manner!!!

I have to run, but want to share a few more thoughts on this later…  maybe in the comments section.  Please share yours.

To those who are unconcerned about what God is doing, they will remain so. But to those of us with an ear to the geo-political developments, such news as mentioned here is truly in keeping with the veracity of God’s Word. How many times does He say that He will regather the scattered? How often does He say that He will lead us back? Back to that singular contested plot of real estate which no one wants the legitimate stewards to occupy. I suggest that the opposition to their presence in the land will cause some significant political and diplomatic action in the very near future. In their thinking, Israel will have less and less justification for its presence there and as such legitimately can become the focus of stronger and stronger efforts to “Get Out!”

Pray for the shalom of Jerusalem!

  2. Over the past 10-15 years, I have met MANY believers who have discovered that they have Jews in their ancestry and are, thus, of Jewish descent. Why would that be surprising when Jews were scattered to the four corners of the earth centuries ago? Many remained Jewish. Many others were forced into conversion during the Inquisition period (mostly Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese Jews), and their descendants are only now discovering their ancestry. Whole tribes are being discovered in countries far removed from Israel and are being brought back under the Law of Return. That was the beginning. Searching for all the lost sheep of the House of Israel is the next natural step in the prophetic process. I’m so excited!

This is something we need to commit to prayer about. We all need to do some diligent wholesale praying on this issue. If we do who knows what might happen? For Abba Himself can move the heart of a king.

Sorry for my late night grammar. But, I will add this that I concur with Pete’s analysis and believe it is spot on. Angus Wooten would always say that for the State of Israel it is a numbers game and they will have to add more numbers to hold the land.

  8. Please forgive me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Judah and Israel return from the four corners of the earth AFTER the coming of Messiah (Isaiah 11th chapter)? Currently you can’t be a citizen of Israel if you profess faith in Yeshua. Where in all of biblical prophecy does it way Judah precedes Ephraim by at least 50 years and is the sole means of their approval for such? Where does it say that the restoration of Israel is to a land divided, at war and where Torah is not the law of the land? Believe me, I too so long for the day Israel (the whole thing) is restored and by faith long for the homecoming but is anyone else asking the question if this is it? Or, re we so wanting it to happen we’re willing to look the other way at the obvious things not mentioned in the prophecies concerning such? Where is the one from Davids loins sitting as king? Currently that one is rejected. I hear all the time about the miracle of the revival of the Hebrew language as a fulfillment of Zephaniah 3:9 yet the passage clearly states that it (I content it’s not specifically the Hebrew language but rather everyone saying the same thing concerning Yehovah) occurs AFTER the day of Vengeance:

Zep 3:8 “Therefore wait for Me,” declares יהוה, “until the day I rise up for plunder. For My judgment is to gather nations, to assemble reigns, to pour out on them My rage, all my burning wrath. For by the fire of My jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.
Zep 3:9 “For then I shall turn unto the peoples a clean lip1, so that they all call on the Name of יהוה, to serve Him with one shoulder. Footnote: 1Or language.

Is it possible that what we have right now is in fact the first part of this chapter which has to be “dealt with”?
Please don’t flame me over this. I’m just trying to see clearly.

    Shalom,

  9. If I might respond to Travis, consider that this is but one part of a huge godly enterprise moving forward on multiple levels simultaneously. What has us excited about this news is not so much the possibility of returning to the Jewish State on Jewish terms, but the fact that THIS JEWISH STATE IS BEGINNING TO ACKNOWLEDGE OUR EXISTENCE. The Knesset is opening a dialogue that in time will engage Ephraimites from around the world. Many viewpoints, including yours, will become part of the mix and inform whatever decisions (if any) the Israeli government makes. Before today we had no opening whatsoever. Today we have a hope of discussion with our brethren of Judah that could mature into something bigger and better than any of us can foresee. If representatives of the Government of Israel are taking this initiative, then we proceed with caution, and we proceed with Scripture and the Ruach Hakodesh as our guide, but we proceed nonetheless.

    • Just asking questions. Does the scriptural sequence of events have any bearing in the fulfillment of scripture? If not, then can we expect a millennial reign before messiah returns? Does Yehovah need to use the UN to establish His kingdom as is the case with the current state of Israel. If this is the case, will they have to approve the appointment of a king for such?. No doubt prophecy is moving forward. Concerning the return of the whole nation of Israel to the land though, from scripture, Yeshua sends His messengers to identify and retrieve His people. I simply can’t find, hard as I try, any passage that says Judah is the door keeper and the one who approves who can return and who can’t. Ironically, I do see this exact scenario played out in history as Joshua is bringing in the children of Israel and is heavily resisted by a king in Jerusalem (along with 4 others) with a Hebrew name (Joshua 10th chapter). Interesting Hebrew names these Amorite kings possess:
King of Jerusalem – Adoni-zedek = ” my lord is righteous”
King of Hebron – Hoham = ” whom Jehovah impels”
King of Jarmuth – Piram = ” like a wild ass”
King of Lachish – Japhia = ” shining”
King of Eglon – Debir = ” sanctuary”

Things that make you go Hmm……..

      • A suggestion: Don’t get hung up on how you think things are going to happen. Two millennia ago the Jewish leadership did so and missed Messiah’s first coming. We’re all going to need correction, and we’ll understand the sequence of events, and even the events themselves, only in hindsight.
As for Judah’s leading role, Scripture tells us that they have the Scepter, the Priesthood, and the oracles of God. They also have the only extant portion of the nation of Israel with any degree of sovereignty over the Land. Right now they and they alone call the shots about who lives in the Land. It is unwise to ignore that reality, and highly unwise to refuse any offer of dialogue with our brethren simply because the present reality does not fit our expectations. That same attitude is the reason there are Hasids living in the State of Israel to this day whose grandfathers opposed its establishment, and who still disagree with its existence even though they benefit from it.
We move forward in the expectation that YHVH will change this present reality. Expect the miraculous, but do not miss it when it happens. This piece of news is nothing short of miraculous. It could not have happened just a few short years ago, before attitudes began to soften on all sides.
And by the way, who says we Ephraimites are to become citizens of this present State of Israel? Could there not be a reestablishment of a separate Ephraimite State of Israel on other land that has been promised to Abraham’s descendants that is allied with the Jewish State of Israel, but not within its current borders? Perhaps the prophetic timetable includes two Israelite states in the land for a time, only to be reunited when Messiah establishes His rule over both.
Keep asking questions. It’s the only way we make progress in understanding this puzzle.

        Trav,

Blessings, bro. Good discussion here and some good thoughts both from you and Al.

Here is something that comes to mind: You said,

Does Yehovah need to use the UN to establish His kingdom as is the case with the current state of Israel.

I would ask, what makes you think Yehovah didn’t use the UN to establish the state? Every account of the establishment and the early wars associated demonstrate a miraculous if not Divine purpose. We have many similar Biblical examples:

‘A decree went out from Caesar Augustus….’ Man-made or Divine plan to move Joseph and Mary?
‘I will go into the king, which is not according to law…’ Man-made or Divine plan?
        etc., etc.

Yehovah doesn’t need to use the UN, but maybe He chose to as part of the plan? Is there more to do? Sure. How it all plays out? Who knows? We follow Him and rattle every door to see how/where He would use us as He works HIS plan.

I’m excited. Something is clearly happening and the tapestry is slowly unfolding.

        Blessings.

  10. Can’t find any illusion to a world federation of nations anywhere in the following passage. While a couple parts seem to be in the works, the vast majority is missing (please note the sequence of events) and hasn’t come to pass yet. I’d say we’re not past verse three:
Isaiah 11:1 And a Shoot goes out from the stump of Jesse, and a Branch (Netzar) will bear fruit out of his roots.

2 And the Spirit of YAHWEH shall rest on Him; He will have the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YAHWEH.

3 And He is made to breathe in the fear of YAHWEH. But He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears.

4 But He shall judge the poor in righteousness, and shall decide rightly for the meek of the earth. And He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and He shall cause the wicked to die with the breath of His lip.

5 And righteousness shall be the encircler of His loins, and faithfulness the encircler of His loins.

6 And the wolf shall live with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy shall lead them.

7 The cow and the bear shall feed, their young shall lie together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8 And the infant shall play on the hole of the asp; yea, the weaned child shall put his hand on the viper’s den.

9 They shall not do evil, nor destroy in all My holy mountain. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YAHWEH, as the waters cover the sea.

10 And it shall be in that day, the Root of Jesse stands as a banner of His people; nations shall seek to Him; and His resting place shall be glorious.

11 And it shall be in that day, YAHWEH shall again set His hand, the second time, to recover the remnant of His people that remains, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the coasts of the sea.

12 And He shall lift up a banner for the nations, and shall gather the outcasts of Israel, and gather those dispersed from Judah, from the four wings of the earth.

13 And the envy of Ephraim shall turn off; and Judah’s foes shall be cut off. Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not trouble Ephraim.

14 But they shall fly onto the shoulder of the Philistines to the west; together they shall plunder the sons of the east, the stretching of the hand on Edom and Moab and the sons of Ammon; they will obey them.

15 And YAHWEH shall utterly destroy the tongue of the sea of Egypt; and with His scorching wind He shall wave His hand over the River, and shall strike it into seven torrents, and make one tread it with shoes.

16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people, those left from Assyria, as it was to Israel in the day when he came up out of the land of Egypt.

There are many miraculous things done but not all pass the test of scripture. We are to test the spirits. I wonder if we’re doing this and asking the hard questions. If not how can we know the truth?

As far as Judah having the scepter,I agree but the priesthood was to Levi.

Concerning the Jews of Yeshua day not knowing who He was, according to John the 11th chapter, they knew exactly who Yeshua was and what He was up to. The problem was twofold. One, they were afraid of Rome (as we’re their forefathers of the Caananites and did not enter the land, Num. 13:33) And two, they took matters into their own hands (as did their forefathers and got beat back, Num. 14:40). The only biblical model for the true restoration of the kingdom of Yehovah involves Yeshua, Judah and Ephraim. Ask other attempts are by man’s design and ultimately fail. The creator of all things neither needs, not does He ask the kings of this world for permission to do anything. All He asks us that we follow in faith believing He will do what He said and not take matters into our own hands. That had never worked out well.

John 11:47 Then the chief priests and the Pharisees assembled a Sanhedrin, and said, What are we doing, for this man does many miracles?

48 If we let Him alone this way, all will believe into Him, and the Romans will come and will take away from us both our land and our nation.

49 But a certain one of them, Caiaphas being high priest of that year, said to them, You know nothing,

50 and you do not realize that it is better that one man should die for us for the sake of the nation, than all the nation should perish.

51 But he did not say this from himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Yahshua was about to die on behalf of the nation,

52 And not only for the sake of the nation but that also the sons of YAHWEH who are scattered that he might gather into one nation.

53 Then from that day, they decided to kill Him.

Yea, history repeating itself. By Yehovah’s design but nevertheless repeating itself.

  11. I want to add, I’m not trying to be argumentative at all. I know this kind of subject can be incendiary. I do not wish it to be. With a subject of such importance, shouldn’t we learn from our previous experience with Christendom that not everything we’re told, that’s supposedly biblically supported, is actually true no matter what we want to believe. Aren’t we to be good Bereans and study the scriptures to see if these things are so? I hear a lot of theories but what do the prophets actually say? Love y’all,

Don’t you think this is what is happening?

And not only for the sake of the nation but that also the sons (Children) of YAHWEH who are scattered that he (Yeshua) might gather into one nation.
    John 11:52

Is this not what YESHUA is doing right now? … Gathering us all into ONE NATION

Here are a few things that has happened in Israel lately:
    – Before the Shmita year started The Government of Israel told the farmers that those who would honor the Torah ‘not to sow/plant’ would be recompensed financially by the Government. ( This was published in Israel Today, some time last year … sorry, I can’t find it right now)
    – Tzipi Hatowely, foreign deputy minister in Israel pointed to Scripture/ Torah / the Word of GOD, when defending Israel in Jerusalem Post 052115
    http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Politics-And-Diplomacy/Hotovely-This-country-belongs-to-us-all-of-it-403819
    – The Government of Israel is now turning to ‘scattered children’ of YHWH and in this article above we are called ‘the gentiles’. ( That’s OK for now 🙂

Respecting Torah, pointing to Torah, moving towards ‘the gentiles’ …
When we see and hear of this things we must marvel and THANK our ABBA
with a loud and Joyfull voice.

Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
    Isa. 11:13

When Judah and Ephraim ‘came together as one’ earlier this year in Ariel Israel, our brother Judah said: “WELCOME HOME, FAMILY!”
Judah IS NOT vexed anymore and Ephraim DO NOT envy anymore…
My eyes are seeing prophecy fullfilled here … are you seeing the same?

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall TURN the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
    (Malachi 4:5-6 My CAPS.)

BEFORE – from what i belive, see, hear ‘the before’ is here now.
TURN – I am being ‘turned’ by Him and I see so many brothers and sisters being turned also.
He is turning some people that are willing and asks for it and He is also turning some people who He must to fulfill all Prophecy.

Don’t you think JHVH is turning us?
Turning us to one another … to The Land … to Torah … to Hebrew … to become one …
to become ONE NATION – now?
    I do.

  13. The gathering together to the land happens after Yeshua returns and after the day of Yehovah (most likely the same event) not before. Yes He’s preparing our hearts but His kingdom will not be established and His people (both Judah and Israel scattered abroad at the time of His return gathered until after His return, not before. Isaiah clearly says that in the day the wolf and lamb live at peace the regathering will occur. That simply hasn’t happened yet. Jeremiah also places a coming together of Judah and Israel before coming into a kingdom ruled by “David”:
Jeremiah 30:1 The Word that came to Jeremiah from YAHWEH, saying,

2 So speaks YAHWEH, Elohim of Israel, saying, Write for yourself all the Words that I have spoken to you in a book.

3 For, lo, the days come, says YAHWEH, that I will turn the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, says YAHWEH; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

4 And these are the Words that YAHWEH spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah:

5 For so says YAHWEH, We have heard a sound of trembling, of dread, and not of peace…..

YHVH for the past 7 years has turned my eschatology upside down. Why a physical return and not a return in the hearts of His people? Bottom line, all of us have much to learn. Scenarios may develop in such a way that we will say, “I never thought it would happen this way.” On a further note, you look at those verses in the Hebrew (not Strong’s concordance) they may yield an interesting picture.

My attention has been on His vision for Israel’s restoration. I’ve less distracted concerning the cares of this world.
