Sunday School, P.6. “I am the way…”

Yesterday’s Sunday School lesson begins with a little information about my upcoming trip to Israel and how you can help.  Then, for our “appiteaser,” we looked at the phrase Peter uses in I Peter 1:16, “be ye holy as I am holy,” and where he gets it.  And, the lesson proper deals with Yeshua’s claim, “I am the way,” and what that means.

No powerpoint this week…

Wow! You really laid it on the line! I am so impressed that these folks are listening and absorbing. Have you gotten any arguments after class? Praying with you!!!

None that has been directed at me. I had not planned to hit it so hard, but had a real sense of urgency and vigor. Hosts loved it, but haven’t spoken with them for more feedback since right after class.

Have to give them a call.

  4. When do you plan on teaching that there would be no debate on whether we’re supposed to be dunked or sprinkled if we would only go back to the Hebrew definition of mikveh? (I realize that might be difficult for a former Presbyterian, but when you explain it these Baptists may break out in dancing.)
